About Us

Atlanta is an independent garage based in Stamshaw, Portsmouth.

Our large workshop boasts three large bays for mechanical repairs and servicing as well as a dedicated MOT bay. We ensure that all our equipment, including diagnostic software, is the latest technology. All our mechanics are qualified MOT testers and attend regular training to keep abreast of current innovations and trends.

We are Vauxhall specialists but have many years of experience working on all makes and models of vehicles.

Atlanta is a family business, owed and run by Nik and Jo. Whilst Nik oversees all mechanical work, servicing and car sales, Jo provides behind the scenes support in the office. We are proud to offer an honest, professional service tailored to your individual requirements. Quality workmanship and customer care are our primary objectives.

We utilise the latest diagnostic technology to ensure rapid, accurate and effective analysis of a wide range of mechanical & electronic functions within your car.

We connect our purpose-built portable PC to your car. The specialist software is continuously updated, enabling us to scan/check any make and model of vehicle.

We can supply a printout and health check of your engine management system if requested.

Tyres

We have a comprehensive stock of the most popular tyres.

In the unlikely event that we do not have your tyre in stock, we can have them supplied to our door within the hour and have you back on the road in no time.

Air Conditioning

As well as re-gassing, we can carry out servicing and fault finding of your air conditioning system by one of our trained technicians.

We recommend your air-conditioning system is serviced every two years to make sure it's running at maximum efficiency.

Antibacterial clean on request.

MOT and Servicing

At Atlanta, we have an onsite class 4 MOT bay suitable for passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles.

All our technicians are fully qualified MOT testers and complete annual training and assessment.

MOTs are available 5 days a week and booking is strongly advised.

What's included in a full service?

Change oil and filter (correct oil specification)
Change air filter(s)
Change fuel filter (diesel only, petrol on request)
Replace spark plugs (petrol only and provided the manufacture service schedule allows)
Top up bonnet fluid levels

Check and appraisal of:

brakes
brake fluid
steering
suspension
condition of engine auxiliary drive belt
condition of the track rod end ball joints and gaiters
tyres including depth report
pollen filters

Our servicing prices vary depending on the grade of oil and parts used. Using the correct oil ensures that your vehicle keeps running smoothly.

Servicing price - £120 (excl VAT) + parts/oil

All vehicles have individual servicing needs and requirements. We can supply a quote for individual servicing when booking an appointment.

Oil and oil filter change only is available on request.
